Our professional groomers deliver a high quality grooming service, individually tailored to meet the needs of each dog.
Our groomers monitor your dog’s behaviour closely to ensure that they remain comfortable throughout the grooming process. We even give your pup ‘comfort breaks’ to help keep him or her relaxed and happy. We encourage with praise, toys and treats (with owner’s permission).
We have a range of shampoos, conditioners and other treatments on offer.

About us:
Based on the busy high street in Newhaven, Paris Grooming first opened in 2008 and have enjoyed a thriving business ever since.
The proprietor
Lea Vesti-Nielsen is the sole proprietor of Paris Grooming. A qualified dog groomer, Lea has a background in fashion which she brings to her grooming to ensure your pups look their best!
Paris Grooming Staff:
All our staff are professionally qualified and we are an Apprenticeship Training Centre for Keits College (2010/2011). As in hairdressing, all our groomers must attain a high level of expertise before becoming a groomer. Currently in the UK, dog grooming is not regulated which leads to varying standards and practices in grooming. Dog owners should expect the very best for their pet. At Paris Grooming we strive for continual professional development and hope that in the future dog grooming will be become regulated.
What we do:
During the grooming process each dog is given a seven point health check. If any abnormalities are discovered, these are recorded and brought to the owner’s immediate attention. Owners should however continue to take their pet for it’s annual health check with their vet.
At Paris Grooming, the salon is bright and clean, all equipment, baths, towels and tables are systematically sterilised after each dog. A minimum of two groomers are always in attendance.
We use a wide selection of professional shampoos and treatments which are manufactured particularly for use on dogs i.e it is inadvisable to bath a dog in baby shampoo as the PH balance of a dog’s skin is quite different to that of a human! Baby or human shampoo can cause irritation to the dog’s skin, causing itching and scratching. We are happy to bath your dog in veterinary prescribed treatments for you too.
We do not recycle dog’s bath water, we bathe our dogs in fresh clean water!
